Royal Borough of Greenwich has the highest Nepalese community in London, but yet there is no place in the borough where these people can say it is theirs, where they can go and meet people from the same culture, speak the same language also may be going through the same feeling of going in a new country, leaving behind their family and friends.
In 2013, Skills & Care, working with Charlton Athletics Community Trust, established the first Nepalese community hub in Greenwich where member of the community can just drop-in for a chat, seek advice, take part in recreational activities, enjoy luncheon club and so on. The hub has over 600 members and regularly used by over 300 people every week. Currently, the following activities being enjoyed by the community:
ESLO class,
Music, Dance & Exercise
Cookery Club
Basic IT Skills Development
Volunteer Training
Pool Sessions
Ping Pong, Dart and board games

And many more…..
